Thanks for the episode! Good to hear you intend to do them regularly again 😉
Jason, I just checked, it’s fantastic that you’re the number one Google result for Math Academy already! I couldn’t find anywhere to sign up for an email list, though — I think there might be a lot of people who want to get notified when you launch courses, and there’s nothing better than an email list to get customers the first day.
Also, I think the new gym routine is smart. I know the allure of heavy weights, but it sounds like you know that you go too hard too fast every time. Let that connective tissue strengthen!
Finally, I hate stretching also, but maybe consider one of those full-body Japanese massage chairs — they can be pricey, but there’s a lot of evidence that massage/rolling can significantly reduce recovery time. Good luck man
@Jason: Thanks for the update on Project Superhero and Math Academy…keep pushing those iterations and get to launching soon!
@Justin: Always a bit intriguing, but also a bit disappointing to hear that you’ve got things cooking, but can’t talk about them.:-(
Thanks guys for getting an update out, and I’m looking forward to hearing about what both of you are cooking up
Thanks for another great episode !
So good to hear you working on mysterious and obvious stuff 😉
Best was Justin’s “emerging” stuff.. It reminded me of all those emerging things he discovered over the years: Lift heavy, slow, 5 min is enough, swim every morning, eat xyz etc 😉
Just kidding, you guys are awesome, keep on doing great things !
ps. Justin, thanks for talking about level of control pattern. That’s so true.
Thanks for the episode. I was super excited to see the notification show up on my phone that a new Techzing episode was up.
@Jason, from the description of the injuries I’m wondering how much of it comes down to lack flexibility.
I was recently reading “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins. In the book David tells the story of his life and how he went from an overweight 300 pound pest control guy to become a Navy SEAL and endurance athlete (he runs ultra races which are > 100 miles and set a world record for most pull ups in a 24 hour period, 4,030). Along the way he persistently struggled with injury which he later learned was greatly exacerbated by his lack of flexibility. Since putting in the effort to improve his flexibility he found he doesn’t get injured anywhere near as easily.
Cheers, and thanks again for the show 🙂
