@soitgoes Agreed, it's awesome! Its also because of spending a year building a twitter following of 6000+ coders... I think you have to work the system sensibly and that in turn will help to create your "luck".

Shows 50 and 51 were great. It was great fun hearing an old-timer interviewed. Oh yes, I also programmed in BASIC.

The AI show was intergalatic. I just read a Wall Street Article on AI (machine learning) that you may find interesting.

If you are interested in getting back into AI and get back up to speed. I really highly recommend buying and reading countless number of times what many consider the AI bible of this decade: Artificial Intelligence: A Modern Approach – http://amzn.to/btM0d5 It’s an expensive book ($100), but the best value of any book I have ever bought. It covers the fundamentals of many key disciplines and approaches we barely revealed during the podcast. There is also a great website & code sample & community that goes along with it: http://aima.cs.berkeley.edu/ FInally, if you want to test & practice your new acquired skills, I recommend the Facebook AI challenge: http://www.facebook.com/careers/puzzles.php It’s a lot of fun, and since I mentioned it during the podcast, thought others might to check it out as well! As a fellow Frenchman living in the U.S. (since 89) I felt I had to be the first one to congratulate you on the show and thank Sébastien for participating. (Merci!) 😉
I was up early and saw last night that the new podcast was available so I had to listen.
Wow the AI could definitely open Swarm to a lot of possibilities and allow you Justin to be very successful. Even though I am not a gamer at all (board or other) I can feel the potential excitement of the game!
I did some small amount of AI back in the mid-80s and the show makes me want to go back into it. I’d love to get a couple recommendation on links to sites you think are key these days.
