Thanks for the new interview and great job on pausing, rewinding back the story to get details and find the elusive miracle function.
Thank you Zak for being open on the whole process too!
A couple things I would really interesting were:
– the evolution over time of the role and responsibilities for each founder
– maximizing the seed investment by moving to a location where costs would be lower and founders would be happier
– how challenging going through an incubator can be
– the database approach (see Fal Labs for info on Kyoto Cabinet and Tycoon- btw I found out that one of the author is now with Google Japan)

@Alex W – I did a lot of looking around and the best book I found was Complete Electronics Self-Teaching Guide with Projects

The best online material is the six volume All About Circuits set:

but it’s a lot of material, somewhat verbose and not an actual book.

Also, Make: Electronics is pretty good as a basic introduction.

But really I think something is needed that’s more succinct, more complete and bridges the gap between amateur hobbyist stuff and the kind of material presented in electrical engineering textbooks.

Hey Jason, you mentioned that you had picked up some books to try and learn about electronics. Did you pick them at random, or did you go by recommendations from friends or the internet? We've collected a few opinions so far, but I'd love to add your experiences to that.
