  1. “Fear and Coding in Las Vegas” = awesome title!

It’s syncing with my iPod now so I’ll enjoy this on my way to the gym!

  2. Agree, awesome title! Looking forward to this one.

Will the talks at Microconf be available online, btw? Would love to check them out, especially Justin’s.

Will you record some episodes with Jason on the road in Sweden/Norway as well?

  3. William says:

    @Justin You’re moving to England?
@Jason Norway/Sweden? Which part of Sweden?

  4. I had a small email conversation with a sales guy from Trada a few month ago. At that time the minimum spending was $3,000 per month. I guess it’s better to start with someone like Keith from zorz and later switch to Trada when you have the money so you don’t have to pay a cut of your revenue.

  5. Justin says:

@Mikael Green – I don’t think we will get a chance to record an episode while he is away… @William – not permanently probably just for a few months. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Jason says:

@Alex Gemmell – I agree the show title is a good one. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I think I mentioned it on the show, but if I didn’t the title was Sandy’s idea. I hope you enjoy the show!

  7. Jason says:

@Mikael Green – I decided not to bring my headset because I didn’t want yet more gear to lug around and I’m not sure Sandy would be to excited about me taking time away from our vacation to record a podcast. Plus, if I do have any free time I’ll need to use it to knock out some client work.

  8. Jason says:

@William – We’re going to be in Stockholm for a few days and then in Oslo for a few. We were supposed to arrive in Stockholm hours ago, but our connecting flight was delayed and we had to spend the night in Chicago, which is where I am right now – specifically at the Ramada Inn in Elk Grove Village. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sandy is reading on her Nook and I’m about to do some work on the Uber God View.

  9. Oddly enough my favorite part of this episode is all the JavaScript talk. I am trying to learn some JS and I found that conversation incredibly interesting.

  10. Totally laughed at Justin’s chicken impression. That and the obvious cuts in time, for some reason I had the mental image of the characters in Trailer Park Boys at that point.

You guys also managed to step into one of my “do not touch topics” which includes religion. Certainly keep me amused though.

  11. William says:

@Jason I’m hoping to make my way to Lundt in the fall–let me know how it goes…

  12. Stuart says:

Here’s a scenario: Jason is woken from his cryogenic freeze, and announces that AppIgnite beta will be ready … in about two weeks.

    ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. Sรฉbastien says:

I tell you, I listened to this episode while walking in the streets of Montreal and I literrally LMAO several times with this UFO, meets cryogenic head freezing discussion! Now, somehow I have a mental picture of Jason being of the abducted people in “Mars attack” with only their head attached to instruments and spider legs ๐Ÿ™‚

    Epic!

  14. Justin says:

    @Stuart – Nice! ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Jason says:

@Ben Boyter – Yeah, we sort of went off the rails there for a while. Too late to edit it out now I guess. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Who are the Trailer Park Boys?

  16. Jason says:

@Stuart – That’s hilarious! Very clever. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sandy is sitting here next to me in the airport laughing about it.

  17. Jason says:

@Sรฉbastien – Yeah, that conversation must have come across as sounding pretty ridiculous.

Justin emailed me some stuff about remote viewing as he promised on the show and now Gmail keeps showing me adds for psychics. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  18. Extremely funny show! I listened to it on my drive to work (as usual) so it felt like I was in your car! I noticed that during one of the traffic jam other drivers were wondering why I was laughing so hard all alone in my car!
This reminded me a little bit of the series of podcasts the DotNetRocks guys do when they go on road trips (every few years).

  19. Jason says:

@Philippe Monnet – I’m really glad you liked the show! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I may have to listen back to it because I’m having a hard time remembering what all we talked about. But it was a lot fun recording on the road and that probably came through.

  20. I think you should add a segment where Justin entertains children to the show. I was at MicroConf, but I never did get to meet you guys. There is always next year. Enjoy the vacation.

  21. Jason says:

@Robert Graham – That’s too bad. Our favorite part of the whole conference was the TZ dinner Justin hosted at the Queen Victoria Pub where we got a chance to really get to know some of the show’s listeners.

  22. Bill says:

I also listened to the show while driving and laughing. Just a couple quick comments:

    1. No one creates in a vacuum. Fill your mind with ideas/info that resonate with you, let them melt and mash together, and pull them out when needed.
    2. If I’m living 300 years from now and have an ancient “contract” to regenerate Jason – why would I WANT to? That is the weak link.
    3. Jason needs a little religion! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for your shows – they make my long drives much less dreadful.

  23. Justin, I suspect that TarPipe can already do the podcast redistribution you are looking for, as automation of content sharing is what the service do.

    http://tarpipe.com/

Take a look. If it doesn’t, just let me know if you would like me to tip the creators of this service as I know them personally.

  24. @Jason & JV – I hope there are photos of the dinner! I want proof!

  25. @AlexGemmell — I can vouch for them hosting people and hanging out with attendees. All the speakers were highly accessible. There were just too many quality conversations to have to get to everyone.

  26. Great podcast!

Regarding the podcast redistribution, just let me know what are your specific needs so we can work something out.
