  1. William says:

    Wow–you guys are on fire!

  2. I think this is my favorite episode.

Israel is really an amazing place for startups, and the army is truly a great place to learn and connect with people (a lot of startups started by founders who met in the army).

    Regarding ToTango:
    I’m a user.
The integration is easy, and I already talked a lot about the product in several episode comments here on TechZing. ToTango is a real eye-opener.
I suggest to all web app developers use this service.

Thank you for this amazing interview.

  3. joenorton says:

I love Techzing. Quenches my startup thirst when I can listen to your podcasts.

  4. Jason says:

@William – Thanks, we’re doing our best to keep up the momentum. It can be exhausting at times, but you guys are a demanding audience so we have to push it. 😉

  5. Jason says:

@Udi Mosayev – I’m glad you enjoyed it! Guy was a great guest and Totango is an certainly interesting and useful service, but something tells me that you’re just a little biased towards your fellow countryman. 😉

  6. Jason says:

@joenorton – Hey, I think that could be our new tag line: TechZing – quench your startup thirst! 😉

  7. @Jason haha just a little bit 🙂

  8. Thanks for another show on customer behavioral analytics. It had been a little while since the show with David Cancel so it was nice to get back into this topic.
From looking at Totango’s blog their key differentiators seem to be:
    – the User Activity Stream and the Customer Activity Stream
    – the upcoming ability to get a callback into your app when specific conditions are met

In the last month or so I had actually started to use the new Event Tracking capability of Google Analytics on one web site. But the reporting capabilities are pretty weak and there is no way to trigger actions on your site based on conditions.

Guy mentioned that some folks have developed some plugins. James Rosen’s jQuery Totango (formerly SAASPulse) plugin seems pretty nice (and check out the use of attributes to decorate the anchor tags).

  9. Thanks everyone for the feedback. I personally enjoyed the show as well.
We’re rolling soon our Activity Stream API, in case you’d like to try it out while it’s still shaky, please shoot me an email.

    Cheers,
    Guy
