I was wondering how high a level math academy would teach up to? Have you ever thought about teaching undergrad students? I’m intrigued to hear how you’d instruct adults differently in class too. Would you still have them all coming up to the board together to solve problems?
@Andrew – The school program is only geared for 6th- through12th-grade students, but the software platform we’ll be able to facilitate any age from about 10 on up. Teaching at the board would probably be just about as effective for adults as it is for kids, but it’s especially good for kids since they like to be up and moving around. Adults are probably a little lazier on average and would likely prefer to sit at least some of the time. 😉 But generally speaking, working at the board is a great way to help students think through problems. Plus, there’s something about writing on a slick white board that’s so satisfying that it just makes you want to write!

I have a co-worker talking up the crypto currencies to other co-workers, and several have jumped in, of course, they jumped in just before the recent drop. Every one but the person talking it up is down.I haven’t researched enough to be able to know what criteria to use for picking one of the crypto coins, so for now, staying out for the time being.

Forgot to mention Electric Dreams…my wife and I burned through the first five episodes in one night, and finished the rest (of ten I think) over the next couple of nights. We really enjoyed the that they were all so different with separate casts, but for me they all carried an overarching theme of us vs. them.
