Wow, that was a wobbly start 🙂 @Justin well done for getting through the show.

Does anyone else listen to podcasts faster than 1x speed? I normally do 1.5x, and this time listened at normal speed, so it made you both sound ill 😛

  2. Jason says:

@Eoin – Yeah, Justin barely made it through the show, He was actually falling asleep while sitting in his chair. I don’t know if it was just bored or really tired. Probably both. 😉

I can’t believe you guys who listen to podcasts at 1.5 or 2x, but I guess we have Rob Walling to thank for spreading around that weird little trick. 😉

  3. Peter says:

Just started listening to the show a few months back. You guys are great – it really sets some thoughts in motion, listening to you talk about the large variety of topics. I’m currently recommending you guys to all my friends in the tech community in Denmark.

Thanks loads for the huge time investment this must be! I really appreciate it.

  4. Eliot says:

Thanks for making the show even though Justin was feeling under the weather – get well soon

  5. Justin says:

@Eoin, @Peter, @Eliot – Thank you very much for the kind words 🙂

  6. Jason says:

@Peter – I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the show and very much appreciate you helping to spread the word. We could always use another iTunes review if you feel so inclined. 😉

  7. Abe says:

Hi, friends! First, CRAZY about your brother, Jason. I can’t wait to read the article. Please let us know the link when it’s published. Second, I just sent TZ a tip from my startup, http://tendr.me. It’s legit, I promise. Thanks for being one of the best tech podcasts out there. Justin, feel better!

  8. Jason says:

@Abe – Wow, thanks so much for the positive feedback! I know it might seem like nothing to you, but reading a comment like yours (and Peter’s) really makes my day. I’m ready to do another podcast right now! 😉

Good thing you mentioned the tendr.me thing because I assumed it was some kind of spam. Thanks so much for the tip. 😉

  9. Abe says:

@Jason, unfortunately the content of email coming from Tendr.me is going to sound spammy by nature. I’ll continue to refine it as much as I can. Payments sent between two Tendr.me users doesn’t have to jump over the same hurdle.

Yeah, this podcast gets me through many a workout. Some people might be turned off by its typical length but I love having 2-3 workout’s worth of content. No sped-up playback for me. I’m optimistic the listenership can grow and you guys will get back to weekly installments!

  10. Richard says:

I know you explained a couple of times what the intro says but every time I still hear: “This song. It’s stupid. By someone. TechZing!”. Which always seemed a bit mean about Justin’s music!

Thanks for putting out another show even with Justin feeling so ill.

  11. Jason says:

@Richard – The intro says, “This show is distributed by SoundCloud dot com.” It’s a mixed recording of my then 3 and 5-year old daughters, which is why it’s so hard to understand. They’re now 5 and 7 and I STILL don’t know what the hell they’re saying half the time. 😉

For the record, I love the song, but don’t tell Justin that. 😉

  12. I listen to some podcasts at 1.5x, but wouldn’t do that to my favourite show!

Another good episode guys, well done for powering through Justin and well done to Jason for keeping things going.

I’m intrigued about the Soylent now, I’ve recently turned my diet around and I’m enjoying being healthier and losing weight, around 10 lbs in 4 weeks now, hoping to keep that going for another month or two. I’m on the “Don’t be a greedy tw*t Dave” diet, it’s working a treat.

  13. Jason says:

@Dave Marshall – Thanks! Also, congrats on the weight loss. 10 lbs in 4 weeks is impressive.

  14. Andrea says:

I was trying to find Jay’s blog and the search results came up with NSFW web sites. Can we have a link to his site?

    Thanks

  15. Jason says:

@Andrea – Do you mean my brother Jay’s website? If that’s the case, the URL is http://nihonmaru.blogspot.com, but it’s just about cycling, and anyway he removed the post about his encounter with Randy Kraft since it’s going to be published in a newspaper.

  16. Andrea says:

@Jason – I thought he had a short post and was going to write a longer article to be published. Thanks
