Really my only problem with FOSS is that it kind of kills a lot of opportunities for software entrepreneurship, but then I guess it's not like you can't make it work by open sourcing the basic version and charging for the premium version. This episode was catastrophic. I use opensource for not having to go to my boss to buy software. And I know if our external project don't live up to the quality, we can fix it. Try to call microsoft, they will not answer, because non-free software does not scale.
